Online Training by a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P) of PMI®
Certificate of Achievement for PMP Contact Hours

Our online training course was created by Looking Glass Development, a Global Registered Education Provider (Global R.E.P) of the Project Management Institute (PMI), which means you can print your certificate and earn your required 35 Contact Hours.

The PMI defines "Contact Hour" as follows: One Contact Hour is equal to one hour of participation in a Project Management related educational activity. This means that if you sit in a classroom for 60 minutes or you spend 60 minutes online on a project management training you will earn 1 Contact Hour. To register for the PMP Exam you need to demonstrate that you have earned at least 35 Contact Hours in Project Management. Our PMP training courses will provide you with that certificate. The combined package will give you 42 hours of training (42 Contact Hours) in 24 small sessions, 2 hours each session, everything online. The difference with a class training is that you can attend whenever you want, and you can pause whenever you feel like it.  Our courses are aligned with the latest "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge" (PMBOK Guide) Fourth Edition, published by the Project Management Institute Inc.

Better $$$ value for a PMP designation after your name or on your Résumé
Target PMP Certification

PDU stands for Professional Development Unit, and it's not exactly the same thing as a "Contact Hour"

You need "Contact Hours" before you apply for the PMP Certification Exam. You need PDUs after you pass the PMP Exam in order to keep your certification going. For your Contact Hours the content of your Project Management Training shall be based on the latest "Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge" (PMBOK Guide) Fourth Edition, published by the Project Management Institute Inc.

The PMI Exam fees - as of 2010 - are $405 for PMI members and $555 for non-PMI members. The PMI membership costs around $119, so you actually save money by becoming a PMI member before applying for the PMP Exam. The online training that we provide (if you purchase the PMP Combined Package) will cost you around $880, so once you pass the PMP Exam you will end up with a "PMP" designation after your name (and on your résumé) for around $1400. If you decide to go with an in-class training offered in your city area, beware that good courses should last a minimum of 10 days and cost between $3000 to $5000. Taking an online training that provides you with a PMI-approved Contact Hours certificate  will save you a significant amount of cash. The only thing is that taking an online course requires some discipline on your part ... but so does being a successful Project Manager !
